Late Night Options from our Head Chef

Meet our Head Chef
“In Southern California we’re blessed with a passionate group of farmers, artisanal food crafters, and creative chefs. Supporting these amazing people brings consciousness and community into the kitchen. Come dine at The Yost to sample and enjoy what our community has to offer.”
Chef Kerri Cacciata Minton lives with her husband, cats, dog and chickens on her own little urban farm in Fullerton, CA. She enjoys watching the seasons change in both her back yard and in the kitchen. Local, seasonal, and sustainable produce is the driving force for her creativity in the kitchen.
Kerri earned her Bachelor’s Degree in community organizing in San Francisco and studied culinary arts locally, finding harmony when the two subjects come together. She is an appointed member of Fullerton’s Community Development Citizen’s Committee, a team offering the city council perspective and direction. She has worked in non-profit agencies, farmers markets, and in local kitchens. She has worked with James Beard Award winning chefs, and studied the art of the curry in India. She teaches private cooking classes, consults on edible gardens, and hosts seasonal “supper clubs”. These events are an amazing way to bring local food and good friends together.
With a focus on locally sourced ingredients, Chef Kerri and The Yost Theater are teaming together to make exciting things happen, and of course, good food.
